Learning

Acquiring different skills and knowledge to apply in future circumstances. There is no limit for learning. Therefore, it could continue until the willingness is alive.

Training

Guide an individual to acquire specific skill by practice. Training is to fill the gap in skill or knowledge on specific area of work. In return, this helps to perform effectively towards the organisational goal.

Development

This is not directly related to a specific job, but contributes to broaden the knowledge of personal and to the organisational growth.

All part and partial of an employee life cycle. However, we see that many organizations tend to ignore the first point which is education, but support the rest of the three forms. However, there are also some instances where organizations have corporate universities to address the education factor, which in turn creates benefits for both parties.
